Brian H. Mesika, president and co-founder of EM Sports & Entertainment, Inc. Brian has a diverse background, having worked in three different professional sports leagues. Most recently, Brian worked for the NFL’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers where he ranked at the top of the sales board in multi-year license agreements for the club, while continuously maximizing new revenue opportunities through building relationships with major corporations. Prior to joining the NFL, he worked for Sunrise Sports & Entertainment (SSE) the parent company for the NHL’s Florida Panthers and BankAtlantic Center where he was responsible for the sales and marketing for all SSE’s products. While at SSE he successfully maintained over $900,000 in business accounts for the company. Brian was a member of the sales staff that was awarded the 2005 “Stanley Cup of Business” by Street & Smith’s SportsBusiness Journal. Brian started his career with the NBA’s Orlando Magic where he finished as the teams number one sales and marketing executive in the 2004-2005 NBA seasons.

Brian focuses on maintaining the desired brand image of each client and enhances their careers through contract and broadcast negotiation, promotional management, and maximizing endorsement opportunities. Throughout his career, Brian has formed partnerships with several major corporations in the world. Scott Douglas Evaul, C.P.A, is the co-founder of EM Sports & Entertainment. He oversees all the Business Management and Financial Advising Services for the company. Mr. Evaul is also a Managing Partner of Gero & Evaul, which is a certified public accountant and business-consulting firm located in Miami, Florida (www.GeroandEvaulcpa.com). He has over eight years of public accounting experience. Scott is a graduate of Florida State University with degrees in accounting and finance with a concentration in real estate.

 

Scott’s focus of practice includes small business consulting, individual and business tax planning, real estate taxation, and tax and accounting issues related to non-profit organizations and associations. Scott also provides strong direction in a clients business and financial endeavors subsequent to their athletic career.

 

Scott is the Vice-Chairman of Handling Risky Business, Inc., a non-profit organization targeting at risk youth in Broward County. Scott recently sat on the boards as Treasurer for the Rotary Youth Camp, Inc., and Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Big Bend. He was a community based mentor for Big Brothers Big Sisters.
